No, I was trying to run RevFe on a Xnest (I was think that the error could be caused becauase I was running it on kde (i.e. with a windowmanager) and it could be getting some conflict. Actually I got same results by not setting $DISPLAY. Trying to compile it now using modified qt4 package.

Ok, I think the error is in the way mandriva packs phonon headers. Using qt4 native phonon headers revfe builds fine (without any touch in the makefiles) but crashes with unresolved symbols on some phonon components. My guess is that I will need a clean chroot to build qt4 and revfe because mandriva is using diferent headers to build all qt/phonon/kde4 stuff (will ask why to a kde guy later).
    Thanks malcom2073!

Ok, builds and starts fine this time (using stock qt4 headers). Start testing now

Glad to hear it's working right. Let me know what you think.

I was unsure if I shall post it on the "bugs" thread, but anyway: I put some mp3 files on /home/user/Music (settings.xml points to this dir) and I cannot see the files on media library nor the audio player. Also if I click on "play", revfe segfaults (I think it is because the list is empty). Tried to create a directory inside /home/user/Music and moved all files there, but no changes.
Got same behaviour in Mandriva 2010 or Ubuntu 9.10.

svn update, I believe I have fixed the issue, my apologies. I made a change in how the plugins initialise, but I forgot to move the media directory scanning over to the new system :/. It should be working now.
