Guino, I have tried the new integrated silabs and all the functions like seekup, freq+, streo indicator etc. is working but RDSText is not working for me.
    Thanks for the effort..

Finally, I've soldered on my car antenna connector & tested this today in the car. Here's my findings:-

    1) Reception is wonderful

    2) CPU usage with the silabs radio.exe is about 15% of 1Ghz CPU

    3) CPU usage with RoadRunner & the DLL included in this thread (184k) is about 90%, sound is choppy, and UI is pretty laggy

    4) If I try the other DLL (196k) CPU usage is around 20%, sound is crystal clear, UI is perfect, but it crashes after a few mins

Hi m8.. I'm using the 196k one at the moment.. I think guino has uploaded a new beta which you can test if you dont mind..this includes the 196k dll. this also has the rdstext and rdsname built in.. just waiting for RRMoble to get back to me about fixing the stereo indicator

    same link as before..

    It's working great now \o/

RDS station name works pretty well, but the RDS text thingy comes up corrupted. But the important thing is that I can tune stations & hear music. The CPU usage is about 20% and UI is responsive. No crashes either so far

I've seen the corrupted RDS text with RRMobiles test program, so I guess its a bug in teh DLL.

Once I get the car put back together, I'll take it for a drive to see how it copes with reception whilst moving.

    Nice work CDR

Hi m8, that actual decoding is done in the vb bit.. not taken alook at it yet, but I'm sure someone has done something on that .. maybe we could get him to look over that bit.. FMmode or something I think his nick is..
