Glad I'm not alone lol... I've posted on the main Silabs thread as I belive I have found the problem but not a solution.... I'd be intrested to see if our setups have any thing in common.

I dont think you can edit the .ini while RR is running. The change/problem only occurs when you use RRconfig.
Regardless...
Check out post #4 (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/road...-rrconfig.html)
Should solve the problem :)
There are also issues with the Radio being put into MUTE mode (I believe).
I think (not 100%) that if you accidentally use RR (sets Radiomode=0) then run RR and open RADIO, it attempts to run Radiator. If you (like me) had previously tried USBradio.dll in Radiator, then those are the setting it will still be on. When it does this it crashes Radiator on my PC. If this happens (ie: Radiator running the USBRadio.dll), it wrecks the radio output, cause I think this is when it puts the radio into MUTE mode, and doesnt/wont bring it back out. I think this is why my radio (which did work fine for a while) has now gone silent. Because (and I'm sure of it) I have used RR (after RRconfig set RadioMode=0) and selected RADIO and I saw radiator come up, then crash, and now NO SOUND :(. So I'm pretty confident Radiator has set USBRadio.dll to mute and wont bring it out and thats the issue.
Just a friendly warning!
I'll report back if I figure out how to unmute it. And if that was indeed the cause of the problem.
Interesting theory. If the radio wasn't working, it shouldn't be passing rds info. However, my skin is getting rds info as I'm typing this.
I didnt say 'not working'... I said 'no sound' :p.. I think this is exactly whats happening. Its working, but the audio stream has been turned-off/killed/muted by something Radiator did.
Got it working again! :)
Close RR/RR config.
Open Radiator.
Open Settings.
Go to Hardware tab.
Select "Built-in (Radiator) Driver".
Make sure Radiator is not on MUTE.
Set radiator volume to full.
Close radiator (Kill it via Taskmanager if necessary)
Uninstall Radiator.
Make sure all Radiator files\directory are deleted.
Double check that the correct/latest USBRadio.dll is in your RR directory.
Double check that rr.ini has RadioMode=7.
Enjoy your USB radio! :)
I've never had radiator installed...or any other radio program for that matter.
