    Here's another that I stumbled upon today:

    http://www.wunderground.com/swf/satb...und.com&v=2.14

    It's not nearly as nice, but it automatically resizes to whatever you set

    An easy way to center a flash object is to place the object inside center tags:
    Code:
    <center></center>
    Using the link you posted, I created a quick html page that centers weather.com's swf file:
    Code:
        <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
                "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Weather</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <center>
    <object width="500" height="400">
    <param name="movie" value="http://image.weather.com/web/flash/FMMain.swf?&lat=18.15&long=-66.3&viewPortWidth=500&viewPortHeight=400&initialWeatherLayerType=radar&initialZoomLevel=6&wxAnimateOnStart=true">
    <embed src="http://image.weather.com/web/flash/FMMain.swf?&lat=18.15&long=-66.3&viewPortWidth=500&viewPortHeight=400&initialWeatherLayerType=radar&initialZoomLevel=6&wxAnimateOnStart=true" width="500" height="400"></embed>
    </object>
    </center>
    </body>
    </html>
    You can resize to any size by changing the BOLDED text/numbers to whatever you want.

    Hope this helps.

    thanks for the info but DigitalFX already has the interactive map built-in , I just need to find out how to pass the parameters to it. Most likely I need to modify the screen definition but after looking around the screens folder, I couldnt find out where is that particular screen. Then I need to figure out if its possible to pass parameters like when you open it via an URL.

    Somehthing else that hasn't been mentioned yet but is a definite possibility.
    You can retireve this map using information from your GPS reciever. using the Lat and Long coordinates recieved directly from your GPS reciever, you should be able to re-create the link to automatically go to you current possition no matter where you are in the world. I was just messing around with the link and changing the Coordinates in the link to what ever and it worked great.
    Where the link says
    FMMain.swf?&lat=44.1538&long=-88.3128
    the lat and long can be changed to anything on the fly and it will update with that area.
    How can this be done. I am not much of a coder but it should be pretty simple and maybe even possible using simple RR commands...?

    New Age Slider - RR SKin In Progress

    Ok, finally had some free time and got it working. For those using the digitalFX skin you can modify the screen:

    Code:
    C:\Program Files\Road Runner\skins\DigitalFX 2.0\Weather_Interactive.skin
    Code:
    MEDIACAR Skin
    MEDIACAR WeatherSkin Skin
    WeatherMap_OFF.png,WeatherMap_OFF.png,WeatherMap_On.png,WeatherMap_OFF.png
    F,98,14,604,495,"WeatherMap.swf?&lat=18.15&long=-66.3&viewPortWidth=600&viewPortHeight=400&initialWeatherLayerType=radar&initialZoomLevel=8&wxAnimateOnStart=true"

    /, B, x, y, w, h, Command;COMMANDCODES, Tooltip
    B,495,508,98,90,"load;weather_Radar.skin",

    /, B, x, y, w, h, Command;COMMANDCODES, Tooltip
    B,203,508,95,90,"load;weather_detail.skin",
    B,104,509,97,90,"load;weather.skin",
    B,299,508,99,90,"LoadAllWeather",
    B,398,508,97,90,"load;weather_Temperature.skin",
    B,592,508,102,90,"load;weather_Satellite.skin",
    B,2,509,102,90,"load;menu.skin","exit"
    B,699,513,99,86,"load;Weather_Interactive.skin",

    END
    code in RED is what I added. That will center it on P.R., zoom it to fill the screen with the region, set it to radar , and start the animation.

    If you not using DigitalFX, I guess you could create a new screen with that definition and then add a button somewhere to bring it up

    Is there a way (doubt it becuase it's a .swf file), but can you add layers to this so i can add my own items...ie...i'm tracking a truck via gps and as an operator i can tell the driver based on his position on the map he's gonna hit a servre storm. so i want to add the truck layer.
