    Exclamation MP3 Virus Warning

I ran across this on Digg and, as though it is not directly related to CarPC's, I think it is worth mentioning, considering that one of the main purposes, if for music playback.

    From the page:
W32.Deletemusic does exactly what the name implies: it hunts down MP3 files on unsuspecting music collectors' computers and nukes them from orbit. While you may not lose your personal data with this worm, you'll certainly lose those long hours spent on ripping, labeling, and organizing your music collection

Many CarPC's do not have anti virus software on them, so just be forewarned.

    Here is the article

I have heard of this before and the threat is very real. It is rumoured to have been created and spread by the music moguls, RIAA........

After all it is not all that hard to get an existing virus that deletes says Word documents (*.doc) and replace that with MP3's (*.mp3)

I would recommend getting ALL files from your home computer which has an adequate and up-to-date virus scanner installed.

mine does. Second thing installed always. No matter how much it may slow the PC down.
