Path to media as a variable

has any one succeded in using
    %userprofile%\My Documents\
as a path for music, videos etc..in rrconfig..
that would be convinient, as the paths (login names) in my car and my home PC are different..
it does not seem to work, i guess RR can't access the registry value?

That's using windows global variables. It's just a matter of RR recognising that and then getting the value. Very easy to do in VB.

isn't all VB programs suppose to recognize global /environment variables automatically?

And typing that its "Very easy to do in VB." is even easier...

But, then so would just partitioning your drive and having a seperate area with no %userprofile% needed...

Yep it does, however it would need RR to parse those values in the .skin/.ini files first and then act on them.

Yeah, you just need to open the partition table and make changes in there.

Then recalculate the checksum at the end of the file and adjust it to fit.
