    RR Audio Browse error

Hey guys. Just came across this error today. Thought it was a bit odd (see attached image). I'm guessing it's something to do with the unicode support? I did a search of the forum and couldn't find it anywhere.

(This is the audio browse screen after clicking one of the WA browse options)

    Any solutions?

##EDIT Just tried the locale options & still having problems

Honestly, I've just tried the media library here (the -- Artist/Album/Genre -- options) and even with my test unicode files it worked just fine. What version of winamp are you running ? Could you try a different one and re-scan your files from the winamp library ? Let me know.

I just got in for the night (midnight) and I 4got to check what winamp I'm using
I'm probably using one that's a month old... (5.33/5.34 ?) I tend to chuck the latest on with half the cr@p stripped off it (linein, waveout)

I'll go rip out my hdd and have a look 4 ya's.

##EDIT: Yup, it's 5.33... didn't that version have issues with unicode? *does a search*
##EDIT2: Nope... 5.33 was the first with unicode ML...

Ok... Just did what was suggested in that post about the encoding... now to test...

    ##EDIT: Nope... not working...

Ok, that's weird... My carPC doesn't have the ML options there... but my homePC does... Is there a option to turn that on? *asks while searching*
Both are using the latest RR.
    CarPC is running WA 5.33
    HomePC is running WA 5.35

##EDIT2: Me being me was in such a rush that I 4got to update the ML on my carPC
Both are showing the tag garbage...
Have cleared both MLs... Done the unicode encoding trick... re-added the files in ML

    Any other suggestions?

It's 2:30 AM... I'm ticked off that no matter what I do, I can't get it to work. So I'm going to bed, and looking at it 2morrow when I wake up...

    What I've done:
    1)Cleared the ML
    2)Removed unicode in tags
    3)Added files to ML
    Run RR... No-Go
Changed system Locale (in windows cpl) from english(AUS) to english(US)
    Did 1-3 again... Still no-go.
Changed locale in RR to Western, System, Europe, and anything I thought I could read :P
    Still no-go.

Tried all of the above with WA 5.33 & 5.35...
    What am I doing wrong?

If 5.33 is the first version of winamp with UNICODE ML, I have to add support for it, that's all... I did not think ML was going to support unicode at all.

I'm working on it for next release.. I just want to be sure it will work with both the non-unicode & unicode formats.. but there's something 'funky' about the new media library format.
