Would someone using winamp please verify that all your songs and folders are showing up? This applys to the 9-2-07 release.
Once I updated I ran into this problem. Even some of my song subfolders are not showing up.
I would say maybe 1/2 of my songs and folders are showing up.
I did register winamp.dll and tried uninstalling winamp, reinstalling, etc, even unregistered and reregistered winamp.dll - deleting rr.ni and redoing.. reinstalling road runner... not sure what else to try.
Any ideas? I've been messing around with this all day.. ugh..

I posted you some comments on the other thread, please check them too, but can you verify the security settings are the same for your folders ? Are you running them under the same user ? any chance you can try/test an older version of RR ? I swear I did not change anything in regards to loading the list of files/folders into memory.

Just to be safe I checked all the file types in rrconfig - I consistantly have .mp3 and a few wmv.. They are not mixed within same foldershow are you browsing your files, are they all the same file type ? or do you have various ones Each folder will have same file type. are all of your file types listed to be displayed in RR.INI / RRConfig ?
Noare you using the -- Artist/Album/Genre -- options to Browse

Yes I did, just wondering if registering winamp.dll did anythingany chance you can try/test an older version of RR ?
I decompiled winamp.dll and noticed it gets playlists off winamp. Is it possible something is going on here?I swear I did not change anything in regards to loading the list of files/folders into memory.
Or are you using the -- Artist/Album/Genre -- options to Browse and not all of your songs/folders are there?

david
You didn't have to decompile the DLL -- the source is available with the Road Runner Sources package.. heheheheI decompiled winamp.dll and noticed it gets playlists off winamp. Is it possible something is going on here?

For anybody wondering -- his files/folders were (somehow) set with the "System" attribute, and that's why they were not showing anymore.. nothing that an "attrib -s /s/d" in his music folder couldn't fix.

LOL, I did it the hard way...Decompiled rather then downloading the source files. Didn't think about downloading them...was too frustrated.. I probably should download them now and learn a little more about your software.
Thank you again for your help Guino.. Now I need to research what in the world would change those to system files.....
