Certain Skins load incredibly slow

Certain skins load incredibly slow for me for some reason. So far the two skins I've run that were really sluggish where Freedom 2.1 and iPhone. BMV skin was really quickly and no issues with it. I find it hard to believe that my CarPC can't handle the skins. My setup is a P4 2.66Ghz, 512MB DDR, powered by a 250W Opus.

Any ideas? Could it be the flash version I'm using since those skins are flash based?

which version of flash are you using?

Try some other non flash skins and see.

Enforcer is correct, as it is a 90% chance it is flash related.

Update your flash plugin using Internet Explorer, as that is the only browser that will update the system, and not just install the plugin for other browsers.

Also one thing that can be a huge help:

Right click on the desktop, choose properties. Choose the Settings tab, and then the advanced button. Now select the "Troubleshooting" tab. Move the slider to 1 or 2 notches from the far right, and apply it and close it all out.

You should see a significant speed increase when using flash skins now.
