    Embedded Application

Is there a way to have RR look at the exact window title and resize only an application that fully matches on the Title bar - not on a partial match of the title bar as currently happens ...

The reason is that I've come across a very good and functional OSK - for use with MS AutoRoute etc. - but it modifies it's title bar caption to also show the name of it's target window - and so it too get's resized by RR and fully covers the MS AutoRoute window.

    Thanks ... Paul.

You can specify the class name for the window you want, so that it will not embed the wrong window... it's very unlikely the keyboard you're using will copycat the class name as well.. use winspectorspy to find the class name then do something like:

    !<CLASS NAME>!<WINDOW TITLE>

    Example:

!Tform1!My application -- (instead of just: My application)

thanks guino ... I used winspectorspy and the class name is about 20 char's long. In the mean time I spoke wit hthe company writing the OSK software and they added a switch to prevent the OSK from modifying the title bar - so it shold work as planned now.

BTW ... the OSK is called Click-N-Type ... and the version 3.02.348

You don't have to put in the whole class name either.. a partial match on both class name and title would work.. specially in the cases when the class name changes a bit too (few applications do that).

Oh I didn't realise that about the partial class name, I knew the title would work on partials. That should make it much easier to work with AutoRoute then ... and I have the OSK software also working as I wanted ... so I'm getting close to having the basics for my skin nearly finished.

Thanks for your help guino, and for the awesome program that is RR.
