    Boot sequences

    I am currently Trying Road Runner front end and the DigitalFX skin. Congratsm to the developers these 2 programs are the bomb in my opinion. My only problem is I am using Xport to add ports for my GPS reciever and if I set RR to boot with windows it will boot before Xport and Xport won't load sometimes.

    Is there a way to make RR boot after all else has been loaded up first? Say a delay of some sort?

    Any help would be apreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    You can run XPort from RR, or using a batch file to load XPort, then RR, or load Xport FROM RR -- the thing is, if by the time RR launches, Xport has not yet created the Port for it to use, it will simply retry after each few seconds (when hopefully XPort will already have run and the port will be ready). So there should not be an issue with RR not "finding" the GPS because of this.. just make sure RR is set to the port you created in Xport and not the real GPS port.

    Total noob at this so if you could tell me how to get it to run when RR starts it would be apreciated. I am slowly learning what I need to know but very slowly LOL.

    if you want RR to start xport do this: in rr.ini theres a line.

    startcommand=

    add the path you use for xport.

    mine is like this

    startcommand=RUN;Xport\Xport.exe

    Thanks that worked. I tried to add speed fan in the same way though but it stopped Xport from running.seems Xport can be easily interupted.

    you can add commands as many as you want, just use double pipes."||"
    example:

    startcommand=RUN;Xport\Xport.exe||RUN;C:\Program Files\speedfan\speedfan.exe
