Thread: Windows cannot open this file

Please excuse me if I'm being a complete noob.
During the process to replace the spinning logo with a static Saab logo, I followed the procedure to select skins/menu.skin
When I select menu.skin it comes up with the standard message:
Windows cannot open this file
To open this file windows needs to know what program created it
Following the links hasn't helped at all!
I've searched the threads but can't find anything to help.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
