you said you had to unzip it

did you download the installer which is not zipped or the binary which is zipped.

use the link i put up in the above posts and try it, i have just downloaded the installer setup five times and ran each 1 with success.

    rr installer tested and working:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/63002434/RR_Install.exe

now this is a fresh roadrunner folder after install, what you can try is after running the installer copy and paste this folder into your programs file:

There's nothing wrong with the zip files on the website, if they work for most people, they should also work for you.. if you already said you have the latest ZIP, and that you're running no anti-virus, then you have to figure out what is preventing you from extracting only specific files on your machine.. a lot of people >>THINK<< they turn off an anti-virus by simply clicking "exit" on the icon from the taskbar, but the anti-virus stays running in the background.. if you really don't have an anti-virus running, then you may have some anti-spyware etc loaded that's preventing you from unziping the files.. it's definitely something installed that's monitoring and scanning your files.. I would personally connect remotely to your machine and figure out the issue if you gave me access to do that..

It would be easy for a virus to "kill" all the processes of NOD32 or any other anti-virus in order to allow itself to install or prevent the anti-virus from working.. wouldn't it ? you have to uninstall it -- or at least completely disable it from its own options (if that's even possible in NOD32) cause if this darn thing thinks it's a virus, it will block it.. even if you tried to kill all of it's processes (which will either reload or may be hidden from you).
