Wanted to update RR and wasnt sure which one to dl.
I'm having problems displaying ID3 tags in a playlist with the new iList option.
Greek characters are not show correctly and are shown like small squares. As soon as I comment out the IL command everything shows up correctly. If the playlist has English characters then the ilist function operates great.
I'm using text mode for ilist, did not try bmp. mode yet.
Any ideas ?
Hey Nomader, did you get to display Greek characters with iList and what font are you using?
Go it working by changing the font
one more thing.. just tried it in the car..Ilists do not hibernate properly..after resume the lists are all empty..they work (if you click on a song it plays) but the do not show.. only the unse.bmp is there..
a RELOADSKIN fixes it
Once again thanks Guino!
Guino, I made a new page called Browser2.skin. According to your documentation:
/, (S) Directory, Picture List
/, FOREFILE FOREDIR SELECTED SELECT FONT
/, x y w h r g b r g b r g b r g b trs pt font
/, --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- -- ----
SXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,XX X,XXX,XXX,XXX,XXX,TRUE,XX,"Arial Narrow:B"
The above tag creates a directory/folder view within the given boundaries, with the selected colors/font.
The picture list is the same format as a directory/folder list, and is only applicable to picviewer.skin
Therefore, here is my resulting code:
AUDIO_BROWSER2_DAY_OFF.jpg,AUDIO_BROWSER2_DAY_OFF. jpg,AUDIO_BROWSER2_DAY_ON.jpg,AUDIO_BROWSER2_DAY_O N.jpg
Why is it not showing a directory listing?
Also, if I use the ILIST command, how does it exactly relate to the Directory Listing above? Am I correct to assume that if I have a Directory List, that making an ILIST reference then automatically modifies the Directory List object?
Thanks for the update Guino!!
ok here is an example:
this transforms the standard list above (defined withe the "S") into an ilist. the characteristics of the list (color, font..etc) are defined with the "S"Quote:
/, S, x, y, w, h, fore R;RGB, G, B, back R;RGB, G, B, folder R;RGB, G, B, file R;RGB, G, B, selected R;RGB, G, B, select R;RGB, G, B, trs, font pt;FONT, font name
S,159,142,570,379,0,255,0,0,0,0,0,255,0,0,255,0,0, 0,0,255,0,0,,24,"Century Gothic"
the "IL" definition just transforms the standard list into an ilist and defines 3 BMP's to use
one for a background color, one for a selected item color, and one for the end item (when list reaches the end - i am not making use of the 3d bmp in the above example) plus the speed of scrolling etc..(as described on 1st post)
THE ABOVE IS USONG BITMAP MODE
Now if instead of the GREEN LINE above tyou use this:
then you r using TEXT MODE. no BMP's are needed here, just define 2 SOLID colors (in HEX) and the rest of the values are the same(scrolling speed etc..)Quote:
here are the SEL.BMP and the UNSEL.BMP i am using just to get you started, right click and save them into your skin folder
Would it be possible for RR to have a big center window animated wait icon? Sometimes RR takes a while to do things (e.g. change folder views while reading), and most users besides myself would keep pressing the touchscreen thinking that it didn't register their input.
If your talking about folder views while browsing for audio, I', working on a RR Media DB plugin like WA's. So browsing should be much improved....
I've a problem with the ilist command...
...installed directx9, new rr version...
...tryed with PL, but when I open audio player it freezer RR
...is it possible that it's a problem of xp beast edition?
