yup .net 2.0 is needed... no other requirements by my dll
it has to be registered as a comobj so RR can use it, aka the runme1st.cmd file
mitch
can you confirm that rr turns on the radio when its on com port 3? I downloaded and installed .net 2.0 as it was required to even install mitch's application. I'm wondering if there are other requirements i just dont know about like VB runtime files or something.

Sonic, did you check if you perhaps have more than one file/version of the HDRadioComm.dll in your carpc ? I woudn't be surprised if the Test app came with one version and RR is expecting another.

well thats one down, another to go
I am having the same problems. I can get the tuner to work in Mitch's stand alone app, but not in RR.
I have:
- Ensured that the HDRadioComm.dll is only in the RR/HDradio folder (Never worked with the beta stuff)
- .net is installed correctly (See Image below) I even did a repair on .net to insure it is installed correctly.
- Com port is set correctly (When RR starts I can hear the relay in the tuner click on)
- Have the following lines in the rr.ini:Rebooted the computer several times while standing on one foot..
- hdradioport=1
- radiomode=8
- allowallfreqs=false
- radioline=0
- userbds=false
Again, it works well with mitch's app, tuning, audio ect, just not from within RR. When I go to the radio skin, none of the buttons function, no labels being updated, as well as a lack of audio. When I start RR, I can hear the tuner click, and briefly hear audio through the speakers for like 1/4 of a second.
Is there some other thing someone can see that I may have missed?

Road Runner 11/02 HD radio folder contents is different
from
RR 09/29 HD RADIO folder (hdradiocomm.dll file version)
You need the 11/2 one
You need to run UnRegMe.cmd
then runme1st.cmd again...
That will work.....
I am using the 11/2 version (11/4 really as Guino just updated the file, and not the download link name).
Been going in circles here, usually a bit of persistence n my part pays off, but not this time......
I went as far as removing .net all together, and reinstalling it.
I have un-regged and re-regged many many times, and just can not seem to find the magic switch to make this work.

Just a stupid question John, did you looked a the mixer? Maybe your Line In or your CD player is muted.
When I got mine, I had no probleme with the tuner at all. All runs well and the sound is outstanding.
