try a different output plugin in winamp. Also try hibernating with only winamp open to see. This seems like a driver/winamp plugin issue, but do check that mapmastervol=0 in RR.INI
I'm not sure if this is a Windows problem or an issue with RR but I thought I would try here..
I had to do a reinstall on my CarPC. When I load Windows, sounds is fine. I'll load RR and sound will be fine. The WAV volume will be up and the master volume is at the level as defined by RR. I'll go into hibernate and then come back out of it and there will be no sound even though the volume sliders havent changed. The only way I can get sound to come back is by bumping the wav volume a notch and then setting it back to where it was. This happens every time I go in and out of hibernate.
Any ideas what may be causing this? If this sounds like a Windows problem, let me know so I can post over there..
Thanks!
