    make roadrunner shell

Is it safe to do this? Will it make start up any faster?
I have windows 2000 and I am pretty sure I have finally set everything up right from start up to shutdown. So I want to make my front end the shell now so it boots to that instead of loading all of the windows desktop and all that...

I tried searching but couldn't find out how to get this done, but I remember seeing something on it here.

It's safe. You'll probably only shave a couple seconds off the boot time

    How to...
    Click Start>Run>regedit
    Navigate to
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

On the right pane you see Shell = Explorer.exe
Doubble click and replace Explorer.exe with
    C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RoadRunner.exe
    or whatever you call it.
Make sure your path to Road Runner's exe file correct.
