it will probably be a codec thing.
I have played mpeg-2 files in rr no problem.
I can't seem to figure this out. RR is not able to play mpeg-2 files. I'm using ffdshow. These files can be played fine using mplayerc and mp11. However, when I try to play these files in RR, it just skips over the file. Any ideas?

That's what I figured at first. That's why I tried using the internal mplayerc in roadrunner. It plays the file fine. So I'm not sure why going through RR, it just skips over the file. The title of the file shows up for a brief second, an then it jumps to the next file in the playlist.
I just tried it on another computer (with different codecs installed), and I got the exact same results. Which codec do you need for Mpeg-2, m2v playback?
VOBFilters should do it.

Where do I find VOBfilters? I've tried installing what I found, but they do not do anything. It just seems like the internal video player is not playing the mpeg-2 files correctly. If I use mplayer classic, it's fine. I've tried installing codecs, vobfilters, everything. It just seems like there's a setting that's not right.

FYI...for anyone who might have the same issue.
I figured it out. It was a codec issue. The VOB Filters listed above, work. However, the video was out of sync. The video would play at a very fast speed. Those are a much older version of Ligos MPEG decoder and parser.
I ended up downloading an older version of K-Lite Codec Pack, version 3.20. This version has the Ligos MPEG decoder (You have to manually select it though). None of the other codecs were working for me.
