Hey all

I wasn't sure where to post this so sorry if it's in the wrong spot. Also, yes I did search and didn't find anything - so with all the flaming possibilities outta the way here is what I'm trying to accomplish.

Current Project:
I recent swapped out my steering wheel in my 2006F150 with a wheel from a lariat which gave me the steering wheel controls. I then wired up my Pac Swix-x and installed a usb HID on my carputer and got it working great. I have access to 8 different buttons on the steering wheel now. The pak swix-x is programmed to send the numbers 1-8 and I starting using autohotkey to to detect the numbers to lower and raise the volume.
I also have the voice control installed and works great (mapped to button 6 on my swix).

My goal:
When increasing or decreasing the volume I don't want to lower the master volume because then I won't be able to hear when the voice control sounds off, which I believe is mapped through the wave mixer control. So is there a way to detect where the sound input is coming from ? (wave or line in)

Any input is appreciated - Thank you!
