F-R fade problem

Hi, I have my PC setup with RR running Winamp 2.95 and using a D-link Radio. I am running 6 speaker setup without the centre speaker (so 5)
All goes through the amps in the car.
I have a F-R fade imbalance.
Playing the Radio I can have (on the MB sound mixer) the front and rear up full volume but when playing MP3's through winamp the front is massively biased I have to turn the front speakers down to 25-30% to even it out!
Is there any settings in Winamp which can control this?

What are you running for a sound card?

As a simple solution you could just tweak the amp gains.

Tweeking the amp gains would not solve the problem, if I set the amp gains to balance the F-R fade playing MP3's it will be out on the radio! If you see my dilemma!

Oh it's built in sound up to 7.1 capable. tried it on 4 speaker, it's just the same.

My reading comprehension sucks today.

I'm sure there's a way to do it with an autoit script where it switches your fade in the radio screen and then back to normal otherwise.

Try adding something along these lines:

exectbl.ini

"Radiofade","SETVOL;FRONT;70||SETVOL;REAR;30"
"Musicfade","SETVOL;FRONT;30||SETVOL;REAR;70"

Then add the "Radiofade" cmd to the end of the button cmd that loads the radio...ie
b,xx,x,x,xxx,xx,x,x,x,"load;radio.skin||Radiofade",""

Then do the same for the exit button on the radio screen...ie
b,xx,x,x,xxx,xx,x,x,x,"Main||musicfade",""

Should work, just tweek the values as needed...

I have a problem concerning front-rear balance, so im loaning this thread :P

I have a 4 speaker setup on my car. I want to chance front-back balance bepending how many people there is in the car. I don't like to use backspeakers if theres nobody sitting there.

And the problem is i can't adjust balance directly from master volume. I have to adjust balance from Master Volume->Options->Properties->Other->Multi Channel. Attached picture isn't from my car so you cant really see it, but you can see what i mean. So what slidercodes should i use in my mixer skin to change those values in that window? Or is it even possible?

Hope you understand what i mean
