    its a part of the source, which really cant be modified until a new official source is released. I have the latest available source but that is missing some features i cant live without so we'll just have to be patient.

    Just because I can...

    Here is a quick fix until Sonic's update get out to an official release

    #1
    Put line below into your menu.skin file
    X,ShortDayNames

    #2
    Drop the "ShortDayNames.dll" and "ShortDayNames.bat" file in your RR folder

    #3
    Run the Register ShortDayNames.bat file

    #4
    add the following cmd to your weather button command, ie..
    b,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,"WEATHER||SHORTWEATHERNAMES"

    #5
    Enjoy the custom weather labels...

    These are the added labels for the weather screens
    ==================================================
    "w_0daysname" To "w_4daysname" - Gives you the abbrieviated 5 days of the week

    These are the labels that break down the "w_titinfo" label
    ================================================== ========
    Using this information "2/19/08 10:41 AM CST - Tuesday, Feb, 19 - West Palm Beach, FL" as an example "w_titinfo" label

    "w_titinfodate" = 2/19/08
    "w_titinfotime" = 10:41 AM CST
    "w_titinfoday" = Tuesday, Feb, 19
    "w_titinfodaysname" = Tue, Feb, 19
    "w_titinfocitystate" = West Palm Beach, FL

    Above is also included in zip file

    native would be great, but it works just fine for me.

    if im the only one that wants this, then probably not necessary. appreciate the effort/time tho.

    I also agree, Blue's code is great, but native would be better.

    Also it does not seem to work with Dynamic weather buttons. I tried executing the SHORTWEATHERNAMES command on the same button that saves the new city to the INI and sets it as as the CURRENT city Var in RR. SOmething like SavetoIni/SetVar/SHORTWEATHERNAMES and it did not work. I tried all sorts of combinations on where to put the SHORTWEATHERNAMES command with no success

    Maybe there is a workaround, but I couldn't figure one out.....
