I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong area or if there is already a thread/faq on this.
But how would i make a hot key (PREFERABLY F9) Attenuate the master volume down to X%? I currently use that button for my voice control activation and want the music to drop to X% whilst the button is held.

Open the keytbl.ini file in the Road Runner folder. Put the following line in it:
120,"MUTE"
Tapping F9 will then mute the music, and tapping again will unmute the music.
RR does not look at if a key is held down or not, if you hold a key, it will just repeat like when typing somewhere.
Optionally, you could use
120,"PLAY" which would pause when tapped, and resume when tapped again.

I think he wants it to go to a certain volume not mute.
SETVOL would be the command you are looking for. (I think)
Yes i want the volume to go to say 15% whilst the f9 KEY is pressed and when you release it.... the volume returns to its previous level. I didnt know Roadrunner doesnt look at whether a key is held down or not. I cant seem to find any macro software which offers this function either. if any ones knows of any programs that do please let me know.
