    copy, move, paste commands??

    Hi,

I would like to do a folder and files management screen, with the basic options. The rename and delete file commands works perfect (RENAMEFILE, DELETEFILE) but I cannot find any copy, move, paste commands to move files or folders. Also, I would like to have an open file command (to open the file with the associated program).

Do this commands exist in RR??
Exists multiselect for files and folders??
    How could I do this??

    Thanks!

there is no solution for this in road runner now. Your best bet is to create autoitscripts that perform the tasks

In my skin, there is a wonderful, but not skinnable, app called "Filemanager" that has the basic move, copy, delete function using two windows for source and destination. It was part of the "Carbon" skin, at least, that's where I found it. I don't remember who the original author was, but it's real TS friendly and embeds nicely into RR.

Drawback - only does one file/folder at a time.

It looks like flash. Idk. I'm an ignoramus when it comes to flash.

Black border w/a carbon fiber trim, white buttons w/ black font. "Source" & "Destinations" font was green & red, respectively.

It's an awesome little app. Too bad it's not skinnable, at least, not by me.

It is possible to use variables and scripts to perform such tasks, or use RUN to execute CMD.EXE with the desired parameters or run a .BAT file to perform the functions. While DELETE and RENAME are simple tasks, Copy/Cut/Paste are not so intuitive because they're multiple step processes without having at least 2 folders open at the same time.

this isnt a standalone solution as its integrated into myskin(lsxvoid), but does allow copy and pasting.

You could always use the CMD.EXE command.
    For example:
    Code:
     CMD.EXE|/C copy C:\1.mp3 D:\
would copy 1.mp3 from to drive D:\.

    Adapted to RR:
    Code:
    "RUNQW;CMD.EXE|/C copy C:\1.mp3 D:\"
    With variables:
    Code:
     "RUNQW;CMD.EXE|/C copy $source$ $dest$"
Something along those lines should work. I'm at work, so I can't check the correct syntax.

EDIT: Sorry, just saw guino's post mentioning CMD.EXE.
