Which fontends sort music by folders?

I have all my music sorted by folders like so:

    Code:
                               A

                      / \

A Perfect Circle Alice In Chains

          / \
    Songs Songs

I was looking at road runner, and it would seem unless I go through and rename thousands and thousands of songs it will be a bit confusing trying to find the music I want.

So, which fontend has the easiest navigation regarding that? I saw nothing in the FAQ, and at the moment downloading every frontend (some of which cost money) seems quite time consuming.

Not sure by your diagram above.... do you mean they are sorted just like in windows explorer:

    Alice in chains-
    ---------------Dirt
    ---------------------Song 1
    ---------------------Song 2
    ---------------Facelift
    ---------------------Song 1
    ---------------------Song 2

If this is the case, this is the default way that RR displays the folders. So when you open the browser screen you see:

    Alice in Chains
    Alicia Keys
    Alister
    Amy Whitehouse

Then you just double tap on an artist to see the albums, double tap the album to view the songs. This is the folder structure that 90% of people seem to use from what I have seen on the forums. However, Some people Feel the need to put the artists in genre folders for some strange reason

This will all be a thing of the past here very soon though You will be able to view your browser list any way you want in order by: Folder, Artist, Album, Song Title, Genre and then sort them in any way that you want . This will require that your MP3 tags are in order. So for those out there that are laxed on updating your mp3 tags, now is the time to start getting them in order.

By default, RR's audio browser is listed using your folder structure. If you have winamp's media library plugin installed, there are additional options to view your music files using "Artist, Album, Genre" via ID3 tags.

Cool thanks. I just had to change the settings to display the Artist name as well as the Title..now all is good.

I downloaded the Ultimate skin. I like this one a lot. It is easy to get around..quick navigation options through my songs, and the audio controls are available almost everywhere.

Not sure who made it..but they did a really good job. When I make a custom skin I will probably go off that template.

This is soooo much better than a regular old radio.

Now..to find out if this skin supports visualizations. I don't see a button anywhere....nvm, found it!

Is there anyway to stop winamp from cycling through visualizations?

Found my answer on the visualizations. All is good.

Oh, and You really need to update those tags! It is easier to do it as you go. That way you don't wind up with thousands to do like I did.

And by "I", I mean my younger brother and a $20 bill.

there might be a easier way...but this is how I turned off "random".
    open winamp
    right click on the skin
goto skins and change to modern
    open the visu window
    right click/visualizations/start
in the visu window there is a button that says random click to turn off
switch back to classic skin **VERY IMPORTANT**

Yeah I found out how (see previous post).

All I did was right click on the visualization it self, then go into the settings and uncheck the check box.
