How do I get SIRIUS to work in Roadrunner?

I am fairly new to RoadRunner so I might be just doing something wrong. I went into settings and just added my port that my MJS Sirius is plugged into. Then I just saved everything and clicked on sat radio and nothing happens. Do you know what I could be missing here? Please help if you can.

I am using the default skin is that a problem maybe?

What do you see is wrong? What on GOD's good earth am I missing here? All I want to do is get my sirius to work on RR! Please help!

Try using a skin. A lot of skins dont support Sirius, just xm. I have both and I can't use Sirius on rr.

U can try satamp which is a program mitch has that controls both.

Well first off, you don't want to use both the line-in plug in and line unmute. Pick one or the other, depending on which fits your sound setup. If you don't know, tell me what you're doing hardware-wise.

As far as skins, DFX 3.0 installs itself. Most other skins, it's as easy as unpacking the skin and copying the directory in to your C:\program files\road runner\skins directory. Pretty much every skin has a help file to get it set up properly, or search the thread about that specific skin.

Finally got Sirius and XM both working on DFX2.5 simply by just changing 2 words on the Menu.skin file.

The menu.skin file is that in RR or in the digitalfx skin?

First off, do you really want it to unmute PC Speaker? Usually it is mic or line-in.

Secondly, make sure the port is correct.

So what skin are you using? Standard BMV2 skin? What happens when you press sat radio button? Does it display the XM logo and populate the playlist with your mp3 tracks?

If so then go to your current skin folder, look in menu.skin and change the ",XM" line to ",SIRIUS".

It doesnt matter what skin it is, as long as it is the current skin. Probably in C:/Program Files/Road Runner/Skins/BMV2/menu.skin

open it in Notepad to do the editing.
