I think you can do this by combining 2 variable
Then MYSTRING should contain "c:\music\song1.mp3 addedstring"
Is it possible to join two strings in RR using just RR Commands ... I'm trying to create a new filename based on the current songs's name, so if the current song is "c:\music\song1.mp3" and this is stored in the "TRACKPATH" varible, can I append a string onto the end of this variable to give me something like "c:\music\song1.mp3.abc" ...
thanks ... valheru
this is the command I'm trying but the file does not contain anything ...
SETVAR;MYEXT;ABC||SETVAR;MYSTRING;$TRACKPATH$++=++ $MYEXT$||WRITETOFILE;$skinpath$support\rate.txt;$M YSTRING$
any ideas ?
basically I want to take the name of the currently playing song and append a "ABC" to the end of it ... thus creating another file based on the name of the current song ?
If it is alway ABC then try this. Rename to .exe
thanks MGD, yep .. that is exactly what i was trying to do with the strings, but now only if I can get it to work in just RR code, i was really hoping not to have to use a script ... back to the drawingboard for me then ..
Can't you just do
