I uninstalled everything and started from scratch and it STILL did the same thing so after wasting 4-5 days, I said screw it and installed WinDVD 7 and everything worked first shot.

I have no clue what the problem was but I have too much work to do to be screwing around with b##sh## like that.

For what it's worth, I'm having exactly the same problem on a new computer that I just installed RR and DigitalFX on. I have no idea what's going on because all works perfectly on my other computer and the settings are all the same.

This seems to be a problem that's just starting to pop up. I wonder what's going on.

I know this is going out there but has anyone had experiences with the DVD working for XP Service pack 2 and then not for 3? I know that service pack 3 has created problems for computers, primarily laptops. Maybe this could be it?

I am having this same issue - I have sound but no video. The only recent change was HD radio/XM update file posted from Mitch. It was working one day, stop, worked again but it does not show any video. It works fine outside of RR.

Just did a reinstall of rr, winamp, dfx and now i have the same problem. I did notice thou when i back out of video to the main screen winamp is playing the video. I did change file associate to player classic... and nothing. Never had a problem like this before.

I was having these issues on my home computer which I installed the same time I did my car PC. I'm having problems with the home computer and not the car PC. Doesn't make much sence.

Hmm that's really weird.. I re-installed roadrunner a bunch of times this past weekend and had no issues with videos. (tried out about 3 different hard drives) I used the k-lite codec pack and then pointed rrconfig to to mpc. When I did install winamp 5.13 I did uncheck anything that had to do with videos.. I think it was video file associations.

Lastly I would go to your videos folder with windows explorer and make sure the default file associations are set to mpc for all of your different file types. I had .avi & .mp4 that all played with no issues.
