Let me know if that helps.
Thanks for the help but I tried most of those things. My hd radio is on com1 and xm is on three so I set the com to 7 and then added 10,11,12,13 no good. So I tried goofball port #21-24. During this time I am entering the rr.ini and manually setting gps port=X (21-24 or the other half dozen I tried). Now garmin allways worked except when I set it to 3 (all heck broke loose). Anyway back to seven and four open ports. Garmin still works. But when the Guages button is pressed just a standard screen? . I am happy with just having Garmin working. Just that stupid tweak monster.
Let me know if that helps.

Um, update XPort. It was a little glitchy with Mobile PC.
Cost me $ 500 USD but that's for 2 cars, so only $ 250 per car, I think that's acceptable to me relative to buying 2 GPS's in DSE or something.
The NZ Maps are tied to each GPS receiver so you need one licence per unit, you can't use the maps with 2 different receivers from what I can see and even if you tell it you're using Bluetooth it'll just make up a fake serial number for your bluetooth adaptor and tie it to that so either way you need another licence.
I'm sure it won't take long before someone hacks it, but as mentioned, I'm happy to spend $ 250 per car at the moment to get it all tied in nicely to my car PC's.
They only ship to the US so I sent to our US office and they forwarded on for $ 30 USD as you mentioned.
If you want to save the frieght, I can get it sent to the US office and just have them give you the code to unlock it............. then you can copy my discs here. Just means you'll have to use your own GPS receiver. I've got one more PC to buy for eventually so I'm going to do that, no point in sending me a code to unlock for $ 30 USD really !
Glad to see my problem my not be just mine. DL'd latest version hope it'll work. I noticed when I check the box at the bottom next to Garmin and hit scan - it says no gps found? Like I said before I can live without it. Love the skin and can't say how much I appreciate the loads of help from all. Thanks
Is that the scan in GMPC or XPort? I started it up without XPort and hit disable and selected the COM port of my GPS, then closed it, started XPort and started GMPC again and it just magically started using a virtual port instantly. Well, their debug output said 9.6 seconds. lol
Curiosity sorry I haven't tried the new version yet (too freaking hot) . But, my thoughts are this and I am prob wrong. My GPS rec. is usb and run through a hub in my glovebox. Whenever I go to the prop. menu it lists it (the GPS) as 0 (zero). no comm one, or two...Could this be my prob? XM in as usb= comm port 3,hd radio in as serial and comes in at port 1(com one).
Wll, I'm thinking XPort won't work with that Garmin 20x. It may not have a virtual COM port unless you can change that 0 to another number. 1 is the lowest valid number. I can't find any info on the 20x. It's like they don't sell it except with Mobile PC and don't have instructions specific to it.
I have a GlobalTop G33 (Bluetooth with 5hz update rate) and xport works perfect with it.
I hadn't realized that there was a new version out. I resolved the multiple IRP problem simply by allowing Garmin to chose it's port first, then set iG to use the next, and the last free port went to RR. After doing that I no longer got that error.
Tell me about it. I searched google and could no find any specs. Like I said before THANKS to all for your willingness(<) to help. This is the only reason I use RR. The support base of users is awesome. As I said before this is not a deal breaker love RR, love DFX 3.0. Just hope as I progress I will have enough knowledge to help others as you've helped me.
