Getting an error when trying to open rr for the first time

for some reason, if you really want vista, why not give a last try... Just set entire disks c,d,etc... with full access for everyone... there no more access denied... and turn that security thing off that comes with vista service.. all that crap gone.... Then give a go...

Here's what I did to see if it helps you. I downloaded the newest version of RoadRunner and unzipped it, placing everything into C:\Program Files\Road Runner. Look at that path name very carefully and make sure there aren't any extra spaces or lack of spaces or whatever. Then I opened up RRConfig and changed the mp3 location, the video location, the GPS COM ports and the skin locations for both day and night. Then I run RoadRunner and it works.

I ignore people who refer to multiple different exe files (RoadRunner, rr, old rrconfig, new rrconfig, maybe even IGlaunch) as "the exe file." Help us and we'll help you.

ok I run Launch RRConfig. exe from the desk top. It runs fine. I click save and start RRR and Autolt Error pops up. It says "Line -1: Error: unable to execute the external program. Access is denied. I then click the Launch RoadRunner Short cut on the desk top an it says Windows cannot access...... I then goto C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RoadRunner.exe and it gives me the same error code. I was also running avg free when I sintalled it the first time. It saw RoadRunner.exe as virus I sins removed and reinstalled Road Runner with avg off still with no luck
