Getting an error when trying to open rr for the first time

ok I run Launch RRConfig. exe from the desk top. It runs fine. I click save and start RRR and Autolt Error pops up. It says "Line -1: Error: unable to execute the external program. Access is denied. I then click the Launch RoadRunner Short cut on the desk top an it says Windows cannot access...... I then goto C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RoadRunner.exe and it gives me the same error code. I was also running avg free when I sintalled it the first time. It saw RoadRunner.exe as virus I sins removed and reinstalled Road Runner with avg off still with no luck

If your crappy virus program deleted RR.exe from the archive, then it wont work. Can you verify the exe is there in the program folder where it is supposed to be?

Also you should always run RRConfig from RR's root folder.

Also make sure to turn off heuristic scanning with your avg program.

C:\Program Files\Road Runner\RoadRunner.exe Is there. I did notice that roadrunner.exe doesn't have a graffics icon like RRConfig.exe does. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled RR with the virus program completely off. I still have the same systems.

I removed avg then removed RR i then went to the program files and deleted the RR folder. I then reinstalled RR. I still have the same issue nothing has changed.

first delete any RoadRunner.exe you might have in C:\Program Files\Road Runner\
also if you see a resume.ini delete it as well(this will erased any resuming info)
use the latest beta from the stickyand just copy RoadRunner.exe to your C:\Program Files\Road Runner\ folder. your problems are just to obvious.

Do you have "RoadRunner" as the directory or "Road Runner"?

EL CAMINO I fallowed your instructions and I still have the same issue. What do you think the problem might be?

2k1Toaster The file containing RR is Road Runner with a space. The RR exe file is RoadRunner.exe with no space
