    Add your user name under the "administrators" group.

    start > run > mmc > user snap in

    It's probably at work or something where he doesn't have administrative privileges. Or the password to log in as an admin.

    I'm betting your username doesn't have sufficient access to the registry key.
    What happens if you try to alter the value of it yourself? Does it give "access denied"?

    It says that it's being access by another program or resource.

    i just installed mine last night and had the same problem. if you have any anti-virus or ad-ware software you need to uninstall that and reboot . then try it again. mine came up fine once i doine that
