Cool...Good to know.. I however am really awaiting IG 2009. Hopefully it will integrate as well as 3 and 4 have.
I just got an email from iGuidance. Looks like they are fixing a few things in 4.0 for free, as well as getting ready to sell 4.1 for $79 (for the upgrade) Im starting to wish Garmin would come out with an OSK! Their FULL version is only $10 more than iG's "Upgrade" price!
v4.0.2 includes the following changes:
1. Increased file size limit for favorites
2. Corrected TTS pronounciation of 'SR', 'ML King', 'HOV', and others.
3. Adjusted TTS timing setting for smoother operation
4. Extended file open delay to reduce problem w/ panning and quick on/off switch (pocket pc version)
5. Fixed POI lookup bug under 'specialty food store' and 'select all' options
6. Fixed area with TTS inconsistency where voice guidance skips a turn (next-next-turn instead of next turn)
7. Fixed lookup screen where state name is either missing or blocked by other buttons
8. Fixed route to/from Vancouver BC on pocket pc version

wow, the '09 version of iG looks promising. still disapointing that I will have to pay full retail again, but I LOVE the traffic history idea.
What about Nav-N-Go iGo8? I see people sticking with iG and people moving to Garmin, but there seems to be relatively little interest in iGo8 which looks far superior IMO. Other than dan32500's iGo8 skin, I have seen no one else working on better RR integration of it.

Probably because as far as I can tell there aren't North American maps for it.
Edit: Although it appears they're trying to break into the US market.
I didn't realize the maps weren't released yet. I work with PNDs so I was able to hack those maps in to the PC demo version. It is very nice with 3D buildings and all.

I just found out what the real problem is, the PC version of iGo8 is technically only a demo and Nav-N-Go hasn't made any definitive plans to release it.
It's a great nav app for MP3Car/RR. It is 100% skinable (not reg-hacker like iG). Hopefully they will release a PC NA version and people here will adopt it.
