    how to launch a program without its own skin?

    tried to embed kmplayer... It looked like it got embeded alright, but it's flashing, on and off, on and off for some reason.. I think it doesn't like it.. So, this is what i am trying to do. Is there a way to launch a program with no screen?

    Thanks..

    you can but you won't be able to get back to rr ,unless you hit esc on your key board , have you tryed to clip and area instead, ie have a skin file but instead of a "A" line a"c" that way anything under rr will show through , this is how we are doing Coverjuke at the moment.

    "APPNAME","RUNQ;$rrpath$PATH TO APPt\APP.exe"

    this in your exectbl.ini appname anything you like and set the path to the app exe should do it. if you are clever enough look at johns ig full scr line for ig ,i think you can do the same.
    it puts a icon top right of the scr which will take you back to rr, may have to change the code abit but its worth ago.

    I'm Struggling with this too. I want to run a program when I exit a skin something like this, but I can't get it going

    ExecTbl.ini
    "OZISAVE","RUNW;$rrpath$OziSave.exe"

    On the Skin exit button, I put this:
    B02,656,000,046,053,"OZISAVE||SENDKEY;%x||CLOSE"," Close"

    But I can't get this to work, so I tried redefining OZISAVE to :
    "OZISAVE","RUNW;calc.exe"

    And I still have not had any luck. Any pointers would be appreciated.

    it works for me.. it will launch a program you specified.. how about calling it directly?

    B02,656,000,046,053,"RUNW;$rrpath$OziSave.exe||SEN DKEY;%x||CLOSE"," Close"

    Just to make sure, you do have ozisave.exe in rr folder, yeah?

    Yep, checked the file was there and tried another folder just in case it does not like spaces in a path (eg. "Road Runner").

    I had started trying to call this directly until I saw how to use an ExecTBL.ini entry which seemed cleaner. Tried again with no luck.

    So If I define OZISAVE to be this in ExecTBL.ini:

    "OZISAVE","RUNW;C:\WINDOWS\system32\calc.exe"

    shouldn't calc be displayed? I can't get ths to work either

    Isn't that what I have done except that I used the full path to the default location for calc.exe ?
    It still does not work
