Ok, last post, I promis hehehe Going to bed now.... have to be up at 3am to go to the airport, and will be gone for 2 glorious weeks, hiking, horse back riding, and white water rafting!

Just a note, "the official MJS RR release" title of this thread may confuse people. As you had like 5 threads with different rr releases that you were using the older 11/02 code. Maybe something like "Official RR release Guino and Mitch merged code"... as Guino did have a LOT to do with this release, and it is using his latest source.... Just a thought

Ok, I worked tonight so I got to use it for 5 hours.

Things I noticed that did *NOT* happen with my older version:

Every time RR Exits and restarts, Winamp volume goes to 0, and Line-In (Sirius), drops to a rediculously low level so I have to manually slide them up with the EQ. This also happens like 50% of the time when resuming from standby.

I got a generic windows "RoadRunner stopped working" error after standby in music, resume in music (with winamp at 0 magically) and clicked Sirius RR froze and shut down. I have never had RR freeze in the entire time I have used it.

Also Sirius displays 0/ every resume instead of the previously playing song like it used to, and takes a long time to update.

GPS speed-volume is also taking longer to kick in from resume than it has every before. Also if I am on iGuidance, I resume and start moving, within the second my position is changing on the map. RoadRunner used to be instant like that too with the volume. Now it takes about 3 seconds or so and then starts to go up.

I go into standby at least once every 10 minutes, usually much more often with all the deliveries, so these couple seconds extra with GPS speed, and having to always change the volume in the equalizer is a royal pain in the ***. Let me re-iterate, everything was working peachy pre-update.

Ideas on any of this?

i have mitch HD radio cable and i cant seem to find AM Band Button for the BMV skin... any help switching AM/FM + setting presets would be appreciated.

a work around for the missing AM button is to direct tune and just type in the AM station.

Other than that great work mitch You have hereby been nominated quickest coder in the land.

has nothing to do with the release

am and fm is managed by the skin

you got some seroius issues, you will need to narrow down your problems 1 at a time
there are NO known issues, fyi you should have been testing my builds for some time. i dont know enought about your system to help you... but make sure you read the notes... which ill post again, maybe ur not running on normal Hard Drive based machine, and some files cant write.. i dont know
srcache.ini MUST be able to write!! for example
one thing is for sure, i KNOW you have...

fadeinvolume=true

fadeinvolume is so buggy, DO NOT USE IT
EVERYONE DO NOT USE IT
it needs a complete concept rewrite (and its complicated, audio isnt managed well in RR)
thats why your volume is messed
