Mitch, read the readme.txt, it shows everything you need to do to get it working. Make sure you install "carpc.ttf" to get the symbols to show.

At about 2:30 or so into it, when the annotation shows that pressing and holding the button switches between labels and symbols, I am pressing the button for about 3 seconds, but it doesn't show the down image.

I only have powermon, mp3art, and rrgas plugins, and the issue existed back when I only had mp3art, and nothing else.

here's the way to test. someone who is getting BMV2 to show the down image download my hAv1c+ V3 skin and let me know if the down image reacts the same way.

I won't be at the car computer for another few hours to test this.

Just downloaded it and (after installing the fonts) it worked fine. it is a very subtle image almost, if not the, same as the over image.

Couldn't find out how to change the background. Got to say it's not very obvious what your buttons do speedometer to get to gas prices?

From the main screen the fuel pump with the dollar sign in it goes to gas prices. I thought the symbols were pretty obvious. If you press and hold the wrench and screwdriver symbol it switches to labels.

So it seems enforcer is seeing what I am talking about with my skin. I have down images referenced, what am I doing wrong?

The background is Menu>Monitor with Palatte symbol (2nd row, left column)

Ok, the symbols, looks like I already had a font installed on my PC which I used to create icons for my skin, that's why I can't read your symbols. so Ignore that bit.

now for your graphics.

you have your off images for empty, off and on and then you have your down for down.

now the empty image is always displayed so you always have one off image displayed.

when a button is indicated that portion of the off image is used, so you now have for every button the off image duplicated.


when the mouse is over a button the portion of the on image is displayed so again you have another copy of the off image

when you press the button you will have a the down image over the off image.


Also try to avoid spaces in the filenames




Oh yeah., one more thing, managed to stumble onto the background screen, but none of the buttons worked in it.

so it is a transparency issue, sort of...all the layers show on top of each other rather than replace each other on these actions. So I need to go into my skin and create an "empty" image (that's really empty) and that should solve that issue?
