You should be able to use the actual off image for both the empty and off layers. That gives you a total of 3 diff layers for each screen; Empty & Off, On, Down.

Empty of everything except any static barriers or images. etc.

Ok, I think having an ON image is pointless in a car PC. The mouse is your finger, so there's not really a good reason to show that image (other than in the mixer screen) So why can't I use the same image for EMPTY, OFF, and ON?

because off and on go on top of empty.


On is useful if you are not using a touchscreen, but say keys to navigate or steering wheel controls.




I have down and on as the same image in the iDrive skins.

Most people use just two images, OFF and EMPTY are one image and ON and DOWN are another.

Empty is kind of pointless. I think this image was used when the idea was to use the MENU command to load different menus for each screen instead of having a completely different skin file for each screen(which is now the most common way to do it)

Use or not use RR, you are one of the few with the current source, so we have you and guino to go to.

if you want to use FADE VOLUME, TODAY, ALL AUDIO SOURCES MUST
USE WINAMP!

SIRIUS, XM, HD (or other radio), and MP3 ALL go though winamp
use the right LINE:\\dev command if you got more then 1 input at play
