Losing playlist on switch from radio to music

Forgive me if this posted somewhere else, but none of the searches I did turned up any hits.

The problem I'm having is whenever I switch to music while the radio is playing, my playlist is empty, even if it was previously full of songs. I noticed I only have this problem when I'm using the linein plugin for Winamp. If I don't use this option, it's not a problem. I'd like to use the linein plugin for a few reasons, but I can't seem to figure out a workaround.

I think this has something to do with winamp.m3u as well, but I don't think Winamp is saving the current playlist to this file properly.

It seems to me that when the radio is turned on it clears the playlist and then when it switches back to the music, Winamp forgets what the original play list was.

If I have music playing and shutdown or exit and restart RR, the playlist is fine, only when switching from the radio while using the linein plugin does it crap out.

Any ideas?

I'm using Winamp 5.13 and the latest RR and DFX 4.0.

I've had the same issue myself, and it's inconsistent, sometimes it does it and sometimes it doesn't. It's gotten worse with the 9-10-08 build of RR.

Odd. I would think the problem would be with Winamp and the linein plugin and not so much with RR, but I could be wrong (Hence posting here).

The linein plugin is trouble some, it used to cause problems with music resume. It looks like Mitch fixed that problem in the latest RR build.

nitefalls, its working PERFECT

DFX4 use RRmedia, maybe bug there? i dont know too much about it

im using TECNIK2 (one cool skin, dx4 is neat but BUSY), and when i go back and forth from HD Radio to MP3s, my playlist is always there, and mp3s resume right where it left off

now im USING winamp V5.53 + JASPER'S LINE IN PLUGIN V1.80

machinehead, you assume too much, very little out side of XM Radio/ Sirius Radio / HD Radio has changed, in my RR build which is based off 5/27/08 RR Code, so if the issue is in 5/27 code, it could be here. I have gotten EVERY bug fixed, that was properlly brought to my attention

Ive had this problem since last spring with multiple windows installs. It only saves my road runner stuff (song & position, random/repeat settings) when I hit the exit button.

I'm using the december version and don't have any plugins installed

dyne, its something in winamp...

it works here, and i got the lamest setup

since im not even using it on a carpc

make sure files are writeable in winamp dir
