Automatic Background Changer v1.0 released

This program is an add on to Road Runner to change the Background images
for day time and night time at sunrise and sunset times. It has its owen ini file
where you can change the images to display and the interval of update times.
Extract the ZIP File to your SKIN FOLDER. And,of course READ THE README FILE.

can you explain how this supports gamma switching? cause im not seeing any settings that support it, unless it's just based on your time settings.

its not for gamma , its for changeing the background image at certain times

It is useing the build in commands from Road Runner.

"DAYGAMMA" - Sets DAY Gamma regardless of current gamma state
"NIGHTGAMMA" - Sets NIGHT Gamma regardless of current gamma state

When a background switch happends, the gamma is also set.
If you like to switch only the gamma then have the same background set for night and day use.
Check your RR.ini file for those lines.

gpsgammamodeoffset=0
gammaday=0:0:0
gammanight=-50:-50:-50
gammadaytime=6:45 >>>will be overwritten by the plug in
gammanighttime=19:00 >>>will be overwritten by the plug in

ok i gotcha... very cool

i may just need to figure out how to invoke those gamma commands myself if i still can't get my setup to set the right gamma on boot. some kind of check... or at least always apply the night gamma, and then let the system change it to day gamma if applicable.
