I figure you can just create a DL list w/ "*.fm" as the file display filter.

Then use "SETVARBYCODE;LISTTEXT;LISTTEXT||PRESET;$LISTTEXT$ " to enable the preset.
Just have to make sure that the SD definition is set to NOT display the file extension or else it won't work.

Really starting to all come together!

From the release notes (Upcoming release mentioned in this post), the presets are no longer stored in the root RR folder, and are now in the Road Runner/Presets folder.

The forums have not been that active lately, but what is happening is all good stuff!

    - New plugins folder & pluginsPath in the rr.ini, Plugins manager, Presets folder, backgrounds folder, Documentation folder, logo's folder.......

    - Plugins are now starting to get organized in the plugins sub-forum.....

This has all been long overdue stuff, and is all starting to really come together!

why not have a logo's folder in rr root so the skins don't have to add this folder to there skin file, this will help in a small way for the skin file size so also making it easier and quicker for downloading.look how many times you would down load a logo's folder when you down load a skin.

i don't mean for this to be hardcoded in rr , its only for skinners to change a couple of lines and done ,

Does this seem a good idea , especially for those skin junkies out there ( you know who you are lol..)

i think its time to bring this thread back to life, as mentioned in the new rr release about the standards of PI's ,and as this thread dose talk about this,
and i do agree with what some are saying we do need to bring this subject to a close in 1 way or another, i see at this rate PI aurthors are going to spend most of their time on each release of rr changeing their code to suit, (which seems to be a waste of their time), might as well wait till the rr team have settled on their bit before pi aurthors make any changes to suit, don't get me wrong i'm not complaining about the updates as at mo the pi's still work 95% , so its not a big problem , but getting a fair standard set for pi placement needs to be addressed and set. and finalized.

I'm surprised that it took this long to bring this back up to the surface...

This is one of the reasons why I haven't released the updated RRTrafficCams with cameras by GPS location.

What is the point on me changing it, if they keep changing the way the plugins work and don't set a definitive standard.

Just means I spend more time doing the plugins for Centrafuse rather than RideRunner, at least I know where I stand with that.
