The emulation layer is nice but why not run it native on Vista? I'm running RR on vista x64 edition, it works fine. Takes a bit of manual configuration but it will run good, I have iG 4.0 running alongside also. This is my development workstation. I've also tried vista-lite and am very impressed, the install fits on a 700mb CD. Quick Vista! Here's how I'm lookin'

It does take some tweaking, but RR works fine on vista. No problems here.
how did u get it to work, I get errors as soon as i run it
no one has confirmed to me at least that VOLUME works on vista.. and it does not.. you can not control volume from RR in vista
Volume works for me, you have to map all lines. This is done by adding:
mastervolmap=-1
to RR.ini

it does not work on my vista notebook, maybe it is a sound card specific problem??
you can when running in VirtualBox ... it's not perfect, but vol control is there especially when RR Vol is mapped to master vol.

try mastervolmap=0
I don't really see the point of doing this... is it just to have the suspend and resume handled by Vista?
