    Thats exactly what it does, it tries to resume to the point of the last video you were watching. You will lose this feature, but its worth a try:

    Open the video.ini, delete all the lines and save it. Then right click on it, and set the properties to Read Only. See if that cures it.

    Ok so I tried messing with this stuff again to see if I could get it to work correctly. I disabled the onboard video player in RR, and clicked the video button and mpc started playing the video fine. I was able to exit the video and return the main screen play a few tracks of music then click the video button and the video start playing again in mpc. Only issue I'm experiencing with this is the video sometimes wont begin playing where it left off. Sometimes it will start exactly where I closed, other times it starts from the beginning again. Another thing, is there any way to get the annoying seek bar to not show up when mpc plays the video? I have to right click on the video and go to view to disable it. When i restart the video its 50/50 whether it will show it up or not. Anyways, also out of curiosity I changed the settings to use the onboard RR video player in RRconfig and it started playing the video and I exited back to mainscreen then clicked the video button again anticipating it to freeze, but for some reason it didn't. It began playing the video from exactly where it left off. Just like it is supposed to. So after that I pushed my luck again and exited back to the mainscreen and clicked the video button again, but this time as you could have guessed... frozen.

    Do you have WMP9, at very least, installed?

    Try installing WMP9.

    I recall guino saying that the built-in video was not mpc, but uses WinAPI for video.

    There might be some incompatibility issues?

    I had the volume issue.

    Then I read post 2525 in the Digital FX 4.0 Thread and set the following in rr.ini

    startcommand=SetVol;Master;25

    I think this fixed my issue. Check it out.
