    Integrate KMplayer into RoadRunner now!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive used KMPlayer before and if it would embed properly, it would be the ULTIMATE CURE to the commercial DVD resume issue in Road Runner. It plays store bought dvd's flawlessly with full features and has a perfectly functional resume no matter how many menus and special features a DVD may have, IT PICKS UP RIGHT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF!

It's clean, neat, skinnable, and is not obsurdly clunky and grotesquely tacky looking like PowerDVD and WinDVD. AND IT IS FREE!!!! The problem with it from what i can see, is that it is technically a hacked-up winamp clone with DVD support. Roadrunner mistakes KMPlayer for winamp, and minimizes it to the tray when you try to run it at the same time. Its a crying shame because again it works better than anything else out there in my honest opinion on store bought DVD's.

If I had enough programing skills, I would take a shot at trying to make it work with road runner, but I am a hardware guy, and unfortunately programing is not my specialty at all. Do I think that it is worth being integrated into RR by one of the programing savy guys on this forum? H. E. Double Hockey Sticks Yeah!!!!! It should be a high priority It would take Road Runner to the next level!

Again KMPlayer works better than anything else (paid or freeware) out there in my honest opinion when it comes to store-bought DVD's. Are you programming guys listening?

i agree with you 100% + extra.. one way to make it work with winample side by side is that you need to uncheck "hide" winamp... why hide if it's gonna run in full screen all the time... u won't see winamp player as it will be beneath the RR all the time... if you unhide it there is no conflict.. that's how i am using it now... try it..

anyone use KMPlayer over Media player classic?

    Just wondering if anyone here
uses KMPlayer over Media player classic with their RR frontend, without problems?
I like that KMPlayer is able to play flv files, but right now Media Player Classics is working fine as is, just hesitant about switching over, and having more issues

If you have other alternatives, please post
    thanks

I don't know the code off hand, but there is a way with AutoIt to change a window's name. ElCamino does this with his "Wireless Plugin". It MAY be possible to make a AutoIt loader to load the player, rename it, and then start RR. This way RR would not get the windows confused....

It may use a handle instead, not sure, but it is worth a shot.....

window name is different, but class name is same... combination of window and class name should differentiate two players in theory, but last time i tried, it didn't work... I might give another try..

like i stated above, if you run RR with winamp unhide, there's no conflict..
