    First plugin install... How?!?

I must first apologize, but I am not good with software (yet) and especially not windows. I am trying to add RRGas to my RR install but all the instructions seem to be written for someone who has installed a plugin before. Could someone please expand on the included readme???:

"Extract to your \Road Runner\Plugins folder, you should now have a folder called RRGas.

    Run register.bat.

You will now need to add x,rrgas to the menu.skin of the skin(s) you use.
You will also need a gas.skin, plus the corresponding graphic files.
You will also need to create a button in your menu.skin (or another .skin file) with the code rrgas"

    thanks!

    Just had a quick look.

The E36 skin does not appear to have the necessary files for RRGas, nor the old Gas_pricefinder, so here is what you need to do.

    1. Extract the zip file you have downloaded to \Road Runner\Plugins\

    2. Download the BMV2 skin from the third post of the RRGas thread and extract to your E36 skin folder

    3. edit the menu.skin in the E36 skin folder and add the line

    x,rrgas

4 also while in there either add a button, or change an existing one (they are lines which start with a B) to rrgas (I would recommend the cdrip button, at least for now)

    5. in the skin folder you should find a file called Add2Exectbl.ini (1), if you have a file called exectbl.ini (2) in the skin thread, add the lines in file 1 to file 2, if you don't have an exectbl.ini then rename the file add2exectbl.ini to exectbl.ini.

    6. double click on the register.bat file in the \road runner\plugins\rrgas\ folder.

You should now be good to go.

NICE! thanks for taking the time Enforcer, and nice work on everything you do!

So now, I'm assuming I need to modify the e36 skin so it says gas rather than cdrip, right?

    Yep.

The PSD's are available so if you have photoshop it shouldn't be too difficult.

Although I think Robby was looking into doing some skins for RRGas and RRPetrol.
