How to prevent showing empty folders?

    Hello,
I am syncing my carpc music library with a much larger homepc library (adding some albums, removing others) - as a result, on my carpc there are leftover folders which do not contain music files but do contain cover art. For instance, the folder ..\Music\Garbage\Beautiful Garbage only contains a single file, Folder.jpg and it gets listed in my RR music library which is kinda annoying since more than a half of my folders are like this.
My question is - is it possible to prevent these "no music" folders from showing up in RR's music library?
    Much obliged and TIA,

There is no way to do this in RR that I know of. Road Runner works like windows explorer in the browser, and shows all folders, not based on if there is anything in it or not. A simple solution would be to open the folder in windows explorer, switch to detailed view, and then sort by the size column. Anything under 1 meg in size should be an empty folder, and you can just delete the empty ones.

    EDIT:

I forgot! windows explorer shows folder sizes natively. I have been using FOLDER SIZE ever since I can remember, and even forgot it is not part of windows It adds another column to the available columns in detail view. This is one of the best little additions to windows out there!

Well, it depends on the software, right? Mine leaves the folder.jpg's behind. Using JRMC 12 by the way.

I actually just signed up for your forum yesterday and requested permission to download upd8..
Would like to give it a try!

Currently, I use JRMC12 (which I like very much) to sync. It doesn't just dumb sync the folders like SyncToy and such do, it also converts formats (ape to mp3, for instance), reduces the bitrate (if needed) and places a folder.jpg with the coverart in each created folder. The problem is, when I remove an album from the sync playlist it leaves those folder.jpg behind. Not a biggie, I can delete those manually (as you suggested). Maybe I need to bug JRMC team to improve on this..

    Thanks!

Yes, just downloaded it this morning. Didn't have a chance to play with it yet. Looks like this might be the right tool to transfer files from a usb stick to the carputer.
Had a prob with the install, though.. The plugin needs picclp32.ocx to work. I didn't have it nowhere on my system. I guess you should include it into the install package.
Googled it out, registered and now upd8 works.

    Thanks!
