Looking For HD Radio Skin For BMV2

Does any body have a modified radio_player.skin for the BMV2 skin that supports the extra controls for Mitch's HD Radio feature?

Ok, so I'm going to attempt to make a HD Skin for BMV2 using information from Carwings-V2 and the graphics of the original BMV2 skin, but one feature that I want that Carwings doesn't have is the ability to switch to AM. I found this:

I'm using Mitch's HD radio serial cable with the Visteon HDZ300. All the features work with Mitch's tuner software and all the existing features of BMV2 and Carwings-V2 work so its not a tuner issue.

1 - Set button to:

"BYIND;FMAM;FMPRESET;PRESET1<<FMPRESET;PRESET2"

2 - In the RoadRunner folder create two text files, preset1.fm and preset2.fm. Open each one with notepad and enter a valid station number ie: 10750 for fim and 860 for am.When you press the band button it should change the band between fm and am and set it to the corresponding station.

Awesome. I should have some time to play around with the skin tomorrow. If I get a full working HD skin done I'll be sure to post it up for everyone.

If you do make a HD screen for BMV2, please send it over so I can include it in the BMV2 skin files. The original BMV2 PSD files are available on http://files.joat.co.nz/roadrunner/

Guino, is there support between RR and Mitch's HD Radio add-on to switch between AM and FM Bands? I've tried both methods mentioned above in this thread and neither seem to work. I can't seem to find anything else that answers this question through out these forums. I figured I'd direct the question straight at you since your the mastermind.

Here is a screen shot of the HD Radio Skin I'm making. It keeps a lot of the features of the original radio skin, but moved some of the buttons around and added in the HD radio features. Displays RDS Info, HD Artist and Title Info, Indicated if there is and HD signal or not, indicated HD streams, allows switching from streams, keeps original tuning features, and preset features. The only feature that I need to do yet is the band switching for AM/FM then once I figure that out I will release it out to the public.

Any suggestions or constructive criticisms are welcome. Let me know what you think.

I'm pretty sure to switch to AM, all you need to do is direct-tune to a station in the AM band. For example, type in 1000 to go to AM, or 104.3 to go to FM. The presets will work, as well.

Yes you are correct on this. Thank you kross for that information. I am getting closer... Hopefully I can build on this information to get the button to operate how I'd like...

I would like the button to toggle back and forth but go to the station on that band that you were on before you switched. I might have some time later today to play with it again.
