Well, we know that we can dial out with hyper terminal through the use of AT commands, but I believe hang-up was the issue. I wish someone with some know-how could develop a solution for us BB users.

you make it sound like there is a usable solution for everyone else but there just isn't,its the same for pretty much everybody here.

Doesn't matter if its S60,wm6 or BB,all the phone software available requires useless BT connections in the form of serial port/headset profile and its just a mess.

Ask yourself this...Do the manufacturers do it this way?

err,NO,thats what the HANDSFREE profile is for and the reason they work with pretty much any BT phone.

Why that is so hard to achieve i don't know but i'm sure 1 of the boffs will be along soon to explain it to us.

Yeah it is,i keep coming back to the phone intergration but to be honest phoco was about as good as it got and even that is no longer supported by the author.

As is the way with developing software the author usually writes the app to support their handset 1st and your handset 2nd which is always gonna mean it doesn't work for everyone.
