How do you have your volume control set in rrconfig?
I'm just about ready to install my carputer in my car. Almost 2 years in the making, I'm sure alot of you can relate to that... Its just never finished. However I'm having an issue in RR.
Doing a quick run through everything is running great, except the volume control. No matter how little you move the slider the volume in the Windows Volume Control goes straight to zero. The only way to fix this is to exit RR, reset the volume to your desired level, then relaunch RR. This is a pita, and would be even more so while driving.
Anyone got any ideas? Am I over looking something simple?

How do you have your volume control set in rrconfig?
I had this same problem, I could use the volume like normal but once I rebooted the computer and restarted RoadRunner, any touch of the volume sent the Winamp volume to zero. So I'd have to bring RoadRunner down to 0, then back up to where I want it and it would work fine after that until I rebooted again. Is this what's happening to you? I know how to fix that if it is.

check RR.INI for mastervolmap=-1, change it to mastervolmap=0 -- if this is what you already have, try changing your output plugin in winamp.
