what about sonic's plugin manager , i know its not totally fixed yet , might be worth talking to him about adding to rr, it looks to be about 80% there now , be ashame to let his work go to waste.

Correct, however seeing as you are now loading all the plugins that are in the plugins folder by default, the previous way of managing them (ie via menu skin) is now defunct unless people don't follow the standardisation of plugins that we brought in and install them elsewhere.

Now don't get me wrong, I like the idea of just loading all the plugins you find by default (just like CentraFuse does), it makes life easier for users to install them.

But we seem to get things in place and then that gets trashed by changes in the main code. It's frustrating.

So if a skin does not support a plugin it will get loaded anyway?

And if you have plugins that you where just trying out in the past they will get loaded also.

I hope you have an option in the Skin.ini to stop that auto load of plugins.

its a little frustrating.. but honestly.. RRPM isnt nearly as popular enough to worry about it from my standpoint. As i've told people in PM.. i'm gonna wait til the new RR Version is available and restructure RRPM according to popular consensus.. can almost promise these changes arent the last.

Sorry sonic, it wasn't so much fro your plugin that I was commenting on the frustration, just the ways things are done again in general.

ie RRGAS will have an indicator called rrgas, RRUPD8 will have an indicator rrupd8 etc.

Don't know if all the current versions have these at the moment, but I think RRUPD8 does.
Just checked, RRUpd8 has such an indicator.

nah i knew exactly what u were saying. I was agreeing with your perspective. I have no problem making RRPM wait as long as it takes.

I do like the thinking of having a setting to disable auto load plugins, but would default to ON by default.

Its a change, it will just take time to get used to these and any other future changes..

My RR Code credit consists of the ONSCREENCHANGE event. My RRExtended will still have this as well for anyone wanting it but using an older RR version but will self disable itself if the RRVer is this next rel or newer...
