He deserves it for the countless hours he's given to the code on our behalf and the hours/days/years of pleasure RR has given me.

So i was just wondering.

Well, there are always older versions, which work just fine. In fact, I'm thinking of installing the older version I have saved in order to avoid the 15 second delay.

They are both based off the same core code, just the pro version is customized to be run on specific HW, and some/most previously added feature removed, ect...

Being that Guino is one of the Main company founders I'm sure that he has say in what/what happens. The two main purposes of the reminder screen is to #1-keep anyone from selling the sw as their own for profit, #2-keeps everyone using the newer versions all within a 4 month version window. Nothing like having a user that does not search to see if a issue they might be having has been looked into and/or fixed..

Though Guino would have to fill in any of gaps that I may have missed to mention..

I guess what i'm getting at is will there still be a LAST FREE RR (pre 2007) source forever available as long as the licence within it is adhered to?

To be perfectly honest I allways wondered why you havent done this sooner. All the effort and time you put in to it deserves compensation. This should also help further the success of RR since it will be commercial.
Will a PRO version be available as well for purchase?

The "Pro" version only runs on its dedicated HW.

If you're getting the reminder every time you run the software you likely have the date of your computer set wrong.

For those using Girder: I have attached a new RoadRunner.exe (Compatibility process) to the first post -- it allows for using girder without needing to change any settings from "RoadRunner" to "RideRunner" -- though I would still recommend.

Because of the easy way to make skins, it might be an idea for NISU to have a skin for the different car-manufactures s on there device
