is the newest ver signifcantly faster than the one without popup? I've been sticking with old ver. cuz i was very happy with it.. but if the newer ver. is noticebly faster than the old one, i am definately upgrading... i am running non flash skin..

I'll look into that Guino, I have been seeing the reminder screen for 60+ seconds now every time my computer recovers from hibernate. I want to add my congrats on the business venture, it'd be great to see you get some compensation out of all of this effort.

Changing the name because a completely unrelated business venture shares this name is pointless and not necessary. Just because Advanced Fabrication is registered does not mean they can deny, sue, harass, or otherwise roggle schnozzle a company called Advanced Plumbing for registering their name. Warner Bros. has nothing to do with interface programming, carC's, or computer manufacturing. To each their own but I would have stuck with Road Runner from a marketing perspective for your company. Which I must ask, whats going on with the company? The website has not been updated since 2007? The hardware pictures look like their generated in photoshop, as there are no 'real' pics of the hardware. Every link on the site is dead, and the connection itself for downloading is slow. No offense, but if I were an investor I would be demanding some answers to these questions. Please don't take any of my opinions the wrong way,as that is all they are.

With all that out of the way, thank you Guino, Mitch, and Blue for the hard work and providing the best free software possible for the carPC. I installed this version and everything is quick, stable and so far I have had 0 errors with the full install of ride runner. Also, the installer I downloaded (about 30 minutes ago)still installs to c:/program files/road runner/.

Well, well, well, let me give some explanations... ok ?

Warner Bross: has a lot to say regarding programming, sodtware and anything that can be included under class 9 of NIZA branding classification (worldwide standard). They have registered the name road runner for nearly all classes, including class 9 (all kind of electronic devices including computer related), and 42 (software, etc..). So to keep the name as close as the original one, Guino proposed the new Ride Runner. I also like Road Runner, but considering legal implications (even for free software) it was something needed to do. In any case, and from a legal point of view, I have to tell you that if Warner Bross wanted, they could require mp3car to stop allowing their "registered" name to be used as a brand covered by any of the NIZA classes were they have the name registered. Something they haven't done, but... they could do it.

The website is not actualized and links are looped into index page. Thats true and intentionally done untill the hardware is ready for sale. There is a new website fully designed and will be published when initial products become available for sale, which will very probably be in no more than 2 months.

So any slow processing show be achived to internet routers, or end user ISP issues.

Photoshop pictures, it is not exactly that. Is is a 3D rendered picture generated by the CAD application used to design the casing for manufacturing, so the picture is exactly the same as the final product looks like. Regarding the skin picture is a screen capture of the original RideRunner software running into the real prototypes, which I must also say that have been tested for over 9000 Km (5600 miles) installed on a Jeep Wrangler whith specific hard shocks, and tested under several weather and road/off road conditions with cero failures.

BTW, I'm Guino's partner in NISU and more focused in other areas of the business (I just come here from time to time). Unfortunately, I can not attend so many tasks, but I could not let pass without comment on this post. Therefore, any criticism (both positive or negative) will be used to improve in the future.
